Services & Support

Factory-Certified Service From Commissioning to Year Ten

TRUMPF field engineers, remote diagnostics via TruConnect, factory-trained operator programs and OEM-parts drop-ship — engineered to keep every laser source, beam delivery and control cabinet documented, calibrated and running.

What's Included

The Service Envelope Around Every TRUMPF Machine

A TRUMPF service contract is an engineering program, not a break-fix hotline. The scope below defines what ships with our standard multi-year agreement.

01

Factory Commissioning

Two-stage commissioning — alignment verification and process sign-off — performed by a certified TRUMPF engineer on your floor, ending in an ISO 9013 Class 1 cut sample signed by the engineer.

02

Preventive Maintenance

Twice-yearly PM visits: optics inspection, chiller flush, axis calibration, laser power verification at five set-points, and TruConnect log audit. Each PM ends in a documented as-left report.

03

Remote Diagnostics

TruConnect telemetry streams laser source temperatures, mirror currents, axis servo metrics and chiller pressures to TRUMPF engineers 24/7. Most service tickets close without an on-site visit.

04

Operator Training

Operator, programmer and maintenance technician tracks delivered at regional TRUMPF training centers or on-site. Certifications are portable across plants and count toward operator apprenticeship hours.

05

OEM Parts Drop-Ship

Regional parts hubs in Farmington (CT), Plymouth (MI), Ditzingen (DE) and Taicang (CN). Critical-path consumables ship same-day, bulk optics within 48 hours.

06

Applications Consulting

Free-of-charge access to TRUMPF applications engineers for nesting optimization, new-material qualification and automation capacity studies — budget for a process consultation, not a cold sales pitch.

Service Coverage

Tier-1 Field Engineering Across North America and EU
